Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held in the Bessie B. Moore Conference Room, 900 West Capital Building, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201, at 9:30 a.m., May 2, 2018, to promulgate new rules and regulations contained in the 2018 National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) Program Operations Manual.

The Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA) is the Designated Administrator of the NHTF Program. The NHTF Program Operations Manual includes the following: General Requirements; Eligible Activities, Eligible Recipients; Maximum Per-Unit Development Subsidy Limits; Minimum Number of Proposed Units; Application Process; ADFA Housing Priorities and Scoring Criteria; Barriers to Addressing the Extremely Low Income and Veteran Extremely Low Income Population; Compliance with NHTF Regulations; and Performance Goals. The comment period will extend for thirty days beginning April 2, 2018, and ending at 5 p.m. on May 2, 2018. Public comments will be considered in the final draft of the National Housing Trust Fund Operations Manual. To be considered in the final draft National Housing Trust Fund Operations Manual, written comments must be received during the 30-day public comment period. Any persons interested may appear at the public hearing at 9:30 a.m. on the 2nd day of May 2018, and be heard for or against.  All suggestions will be heard and considered.  This hearing is being held pursuant to the requirements in the Arkansas Administrative Procedures Act.
