Venture Capital Programs

ADFA's Venture Capital Programs increase the availability of equity and near equity capital for enterprises in Arkansas that are emerging, expanding, relocating, and restructuring.

ABOUT THE ADFA CO-INVESTMENT FUND

  • Provides direct co-investments in Arkansas companies that have received commitments for venture capital investment from qualified venture capital entities and individual angel investors
  • Supplied by an allocation from the federal State Small Business Credit Initiative, created in 2010

ADVANTAGES FOR YOUR STARTUP OR GROWING ENTERPRISE

With the advent of SSBCI funding, ADFA now has an ability to support Arkansas businesses directly with venture capital investments.

Before the creation of the ADFA Co-Investment Fund, ADFA had been funding venture capitalists in Arkansas through the Arkansas Institutional Fund (AIF), a "fund of funds" investment model which relies on borrowed capital from banks. The ADFA Co-Investment Fund adds a direct-funding model from ADFA to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The ADFA Co-Investment Fund will collaborate with venture capital entities and individual angel investors to support growing companies.
