Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held before the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (the “Authority”), regarding the issuance of not to exceed Three Hundred Million Dollars ($300,000,000) in principal amount of the Authority’s single family mortgage revenue bonds, in one or more issues (the “Bonds”), pursuant to a plan of finance under the authority of Arkansas Code Annotated Section 15-5-101 et seq. (Act No. 1062 of the State of Arkansas for the year 1985, as amended) (the “Act”), to finance the acquisition of single-family mortgages for low-to-moderate income housing in the State of Arkansas, and to fund costs of issuance and reserve funds, if needed, for such Bonds. The Bonds will be issued in one or more series or sub-series, pursuant to series resolutions to be adopted by the Authority.
Any interested person may participate in the hearing on August 28, 2025, at 9 a.m. by appearing in person at the office of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, 1 Commerce Way, Suite 602, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to express his or her views with respect to the issuance of the Bonds. Any interested persons unable to participate in the hearing may submit their views in writing to Mr. Jake Bleed, General Counsel, Arkansas Development Finance Authority, at the address of the Authority set forth above, prior to the date scheduled for the hearing. The location and time of the hearing may be changed or an additional hearing may be scheduled, at the option of the Authority.
This notice is published and the above described hearing is to be in satisfaction (i) of the requirements of Section 147 (f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, regarding holding a public hearing as a prerequisite to the exclusion from gross income for federal income tax purposes of the interest on the Bonds described above and (ii) of Arkansas Code Annotated Section 19-9-607.
